Over the Holiday's I offered to watch Tessa and Ollie for my sister Jess, while her and Jeff went to an ugly sweater party. I got there with little Mollie Jo and we had lots of fun. The kidlets had a blast together. Ollie is so funny around Molls, he just wanted to grab her the entire time. I can't wait until they can beat up on each other. We had fun. Tessa and I made her mom a Go Utes picture frame with a picture of Grammie Stacy and the grand kids, all in their ute attire. It turned out really cute. We had fun. Then I put Olls to bed. It was great. Molls and Olls were both sleeping while I had a chance to play stuffed animals with miss Tessa. Well, Ollie decided to wake up screaming, and woke up molls. Suddenly I went from calm playing to stressful newborn and 7 month babies screaming. Both wanted to be held so I had to have babysitter Tessa help me out! A four year old! Wow, it was a good thing she was there to help the babysitter auntie out! Props to moms who have twins or kids very close in age! It is hard work.

One Month Molls...
Wow, Mollie Jo is one month old! I can't believe it. I feel like we just left the hospital to bring her home yesterday! Where does the time go? She has been so much fun and I just love love being her mommy. She is getting a little bigger and is starting to fill out a little bit. I tell my mom that she is getting chubbier, but she just laughs and tells me she is still a little munchkin. We did weigh her yesterday and she is up to a 7 lbs. Started out at 5 lb 12 oz and up to 7... she is growing, mom! I look at her as getting so much bigger and put clothes on her, and they still drown her little body, someday soon they will all fit!
Mollie is also staying awake more during the day. I am trying so hard for her to crack that smile and she is getting pretty close! I can't wait to see it when she is awake and on purpose instead of asleep dreaming sweet dreams. Regardless, she is my cute little bug and we are having so much fun with her. Here are some pics of Molls at one month old.

The "steam out"...
Our little Mollie Jo has been pretty stuffed up this week. I think she is starting to get used to all the different allergens in the air. I called Dr. Clayton, her pediatrician, and asked what I could do to help the congestion. One of his suggestions, and one I read in my book was to turn on the shower and get the bathroom really steamy, and then hold her in there for a good 10-15 minutes. Well, we have discovered it works wonders and clears her right up, not to mention gives her hair a "doo" of its own. I just love her wild hair and wanted everyone to see how funny it is!

My clothes are starting to fit me...
Little Miss Mollie Jo is 3 weeks old today! Where does all the time go to? I can't believe how quick these 3 weeks have flown by! Mollie is so much fun and such a good baby. I feel so lucky to have her as my little daughter! She is just a doll. She is growing each day. She sleeps a lot still because I think she is growing so much. She is a great little eater. When she gets hungry she get ravenous and seriously snarfs down her food. She is funny to watch as she kicks her legs and flails her arms around until she gets that bottle in her mouth. She eats so fast and then gets the hiccups! It is adorable. I am glad she is growing and is healthy. It has been so fun because she is finally fitting into some more of her clothes. I have had such a blast dressing her in her different outfits. I feel like I am back playing house because I love dressing her and doing her hair so much. I had to post some pics of her in some of her fun little outfits. She looks so darn cute, I can't get enough pictures of her. I love her to pieces and am so glad I get to be her mommy.

2 weeks old and growing...
Monday was Mollie Jo's two week mark. I can't believe how fast those two weeks flew by! We went to the pediatrician for her 2 week Checkup. She was fabulous and healthy as can be. She has gained 8 ounces since her last visit, and weighs a whopping 6 lbs 4 oz. She also grew a 1/4 of an inch in length and measures 19 and 3/4 inches long. Dr. Clayton was impressed with her weight gain and said to keep doing what we are doing with her. She was very well mannered until they had to prick her tiny little heel for a blood sample. She screamed her eyes out... poor little girl. I am so glad that my little girl is growing and is healthy and happy. What a blessing. Her next appointment with Dr. Clayton is at two months, until then we will continue to chub this little bundle of joy up!
Born a UTE and will always be a UTE!
Saturday was Miss Mollie's first Utah vs. BYU football game. We got her all decked out in her red to support our UTES. We headed over the Grammie Stacy's to watch the big game while daddy was lucky enough to go to it at Cougar Stadium. We had a lot of fun cheering our UTES on with cousins Tessa and Ollie, Aunt Abbie, Grandma Stacy and Grandpa Chris. The game was rough, but despite our loss to the cougars, we still love our UTES and ALWAYS WILL!!
GO UTES!!

Our first Thanksgiving with Mollie
Well, our Thanksgiving this year was a special one. Our new addition, Mollie Jo, is what I am most thankful for this year. How could such a bundle of joy bless my life this much? She is my little doll and I am so grateful that she arrived to our little family safe and healthy. She brings so much happiness and joy to my life and I thank my Heavenly Father each and everyday for this wonderful baby girl... what a blessing. I also am so thankful for Tom and all that he does for me and our new little family. Tom, you are the best!
We had a great Thanksgiving day. We started the day with Mollie snuggled up to us as we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a lot of fun. We started her young so hopefully the little bug will enjoy the parade as much as I do each year. After the parade we got ready to head to Grandma Amy and Grandpa JJ's house for our big feast. Grandma and Grandpa were there along with Aunt Mary and Abby, and Fred and Jane. It was a lot of fun, and we had a great time together as a family. After dinner we headed over to Grammie Stacy's and Grandpa Chris' house for dessert. Abbie made all the pies this year and oh were they tasty. Gram and Gramps were there, along with Aunt Abbie, Aunt Jess, Uncle Jeff, Tessa Jane, Ollie, Great Grandma Trujillo, and the entire Olson clan. We had a lot of fun. Everyone just adored little Mollie Jo, and man did she get the pass along! It was fun to celebrate "Olls" and "Molls" first Thanksgiving together!
We had a great time and both grandparents houses, and the day could not have gone any smoother. We are so thankful for both of our families and all that they do for us. We love you all so much, Happy Thanksgiving!
