Cabin with Friends.. Dad's Birthday Bash.. and 4th of July Festivities!

Let me start out by saying that we had such a great Holiday Weekend. We kicked off the long weekend with an overnighter to Tom's cabin with our fun friends. We headed up with The Stokers, The Coons and The Grays! I think we might have the coolest group of friends ever! We ate dinner at the fabulous Pizza Place up in Midway! It was delicious! After dinner we had an intense softball game... Lunds and Coon vs. Stokers and Grays! Okay, okay we lost, but it was still lots of fun. We roasted marshmallows, ate lots of junk and played games til 2 in the morning. The kiddos had a fun time jumping on the tramp and just running around. It was so much fun!

Molls and I posing during the softball game.. this could be why we lost!

Cute Mal and Aspen!

The 3 Amigas!

The next morning we had a great sleep in and then made a big yummy breakfast... Eggs, bacon, hash browns... what beats that and being in the beautiful mountains? Not much. We ended our cabin getaway with a trip to the swimming pool. It was so pretty and perfect weather. Mollie is such a little fish. That girl has no fear of the water, which is good and bad at the same time. If she could she would just go jump in thinking she could swim. I love my bug!

Tom and Molls chilling out in the sun!

Love this one of Katie and Rush!! So sweet!

We had a great time with our friends at the cabin, and seriously can't wait to head up there again with all of them.

Sunday was also a great day! We celebrated my dad's 53 Birthday! I know isn't he so old? I can't believe it! He is taking on the nickname of "Old Man" since Gramps Cal isn't here to bet the old one anymore! To celebrate we made his favorite... Homemade Italian Pizza's on the grill! They were so good, and lots of fun to make. The kiddos just love Gramps so much that they can't get enough of him. Molls absolutely adores him, and loves snuggling up on his shoulder!

The Birthday Boy!!

Tessa and Gramps! Priceless pic!

My darling girl!!

Abbs made yet another one of her fabulous cakes, and it was so cute, festive and oh so good. My dad didn't even miss one candle at his old age when he blew them all out in one blow! Way to go Dad! Impressive!

So cute, right?

The moment of truth!

After cake we just hungout on the patio and had a great time with the kiddos and lots of the Birthday Boys favorite drink... Diet Coke! My family can't get enough of that stuff!

Sisters and our Diet Coke!

Molls, Olls and Tom! Cuties!

Dan and Abbie! The rest of us didn't get the "green" memo!

Ending the party playing in the pond!

We had a great time celebrating with my dad.. As always it was a fun party with lots of wild kids running around making it a riot!

Next comes the 4th of July! We got up super early with our cute decorated wagon in tow, and headed to the Millcreek Parade! It was so much fun to actually be in it with the kiddos this year instead of just being a spectator! The kids were troopers and had a ball! Our wagon was by far the cutest and most festive and so was Tessa's scooter!

Molls and Tom waiting for the parade to begin!

Lady Liberty ready to go!

The cute "girls" in the wagon! I love Ollie's face.. so Cute!

Mollie and Mom at the end of the route! Getting a little tired here!!

Our cute 4th of July girl!!

As you can see, we had a great Holiday Weekend filled with Family, Friends and Fun Festivities. I am so blessed to live in this Beautiful Country. God Bless America!
